Numa — open beta

Numa is open. For a long time it lived with a small handful of people who put up with its rough edges and told us how it felt to share a computer with something that pays attention. We have learned what we needed to from that. It is time to let more people in.

From today you can ask for access. We are running an open beta: Numa is free for the length of it, on macOS and Windows, with no card and no commitment. We will let people in steadily — in batches small enough that we can still read what everyone tells us — and we will write here as it widens.

What you get

  • Numa for your desktop — the notch, the agent, the canvas — at no cost during the beta.
  • A direct line to the lab. Every beta build asks one honest question and we read every answer.
  • No account theatre. Sign in once; nothing is sold, nothing is mined.

Leave us an email and we will be in touch when your batch opens. That is the whole signup.

If you have read this far: thank you. The odd question that started the lab — what should it feel like to live with a made thing that seems, somehow, awake — is no longer only ours to answer. It is yours now too.
